New Sertification Training and T-Shirts!

To all cards for cancer crew, if you have not completed your sertification training ( that would be Kathryn, Faith and Sam) please E-mail me for information on the date and time of the next course. We also would like to get t-shirts made. If you would like one there is a 10 dollar fee and you would need to bring in either a plain WHITE t-shirt or a plain BLACK t-shirt that FITS you. Cards For Cancer would liketo thank every one at the renfrew home and liesure show! We raised a grand total of...$31.50! THank you to every one!!!!!!! We are very very happy with our turnout!

How is the money going to get to The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation?

That is a question we hear a lot. The answer is: After each of our major events we give all of the money that we have made from the event and any other money that was made in between events to Kelly Perry .(Kelly is the  co-team captain of Cougars conquering cancer) Cougars Conquering Cancer is a team of women and men ( Cougars and Manthers) that participates in Weekend to End Womens Cancers.Then the Cougars give the money to W.E.W.C. and they give it to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Its complicated but it works!

Renfrew Home & Liesure Show

Cards For Cancer will have a small table at the Cougers Conquering Cancer booth at the show. The Home and liesure Show will be held at the renfrew armouries. The show is held on March 25, 26 & 27, But we will only be there on the 26 & 27 because we need to be at school, but if it is a snow day we might be there.

What is Cards For Cancer?

Cards for cancer is a non-profit organization created by 5 kids in Renfrew Ontario Canada. Those Kids are: Emily Belliveau, Kathryn Boudreau, Samantha Headrick,Brittney Megrath and Faith Ebert. All of Cards for Cancer's profits go to Cougers Conquering Cancer, a team participating in Weekend to End Womens Cancers( in Ottawa Ontario), and all of the money raised by the walkers goes to The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
